My name is Ruby. I am a qualified teacher with full registration. I have a Bachelor of Education from China and completed my diploma in, 2008 in New Zealand.

I grew up in South China, and moved to New Zealand in 2000. I am a mum with a son, now 19. I enjoy swimming, yoga, going to the gym and cycling. I like to spend my time in touch with nature on the  weekends, and I like to encourage children to form a more intimate relationship with their outer environment.

I enjoy weaving in my creativity teaching and bringing imagination into the classroom. Thus helping create a warm and caring environment for the children. I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude and high expectation to the classroom each day. I believe that I owe it my students, as well as the community to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well.
